The Met, London's police force, is buying "mobile device data extraction" devices that can suck all the data out of your phone "in minutes" -- that's where you've been, who you know, what you've said to them, what websites you visit, and, depending on your apps, what groceries you buy, when you've called for a cab, what your menstrual cycle is, what you eat, your passwords, and so on.
Kind of worrying for #Journalists and #photographers as sometimes the police don't listen or believe they need a search warrant for media gatherers working in journalism and are protected under PACE.

Any one know of any apps to prevent this?

A bit of Street Photography
Sorting out my photos in Adobe Lightroom 4 I found some images that had not seen any light.
They were taken during the Magnum Street Photography Workshop which was run during the Format Festival in Derby last year and I was with Bruce Gilden's group.
